Financial Information

Your daily inpatient room charge includes the following: your room, nursing care, admitting, food service, building maintenance, television, housekeeping, security, medical records, linen service, and local call telephone service. Click HERE for UH Samaritan Medical Center's Pricing Guide.

There will be separate charges for services such as oxygen, drugs, operating room, laboratory tests, physical or speech therapy, emergency services, obstetrical services, medical supplies and other special diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Also not included in your hospital statement and billed separately by the physician(s) are:

  • Fees for the professional services of your doctors
  • Fees for other physician services such as an anesthesiologist, hospitalist, pathologist, radiologist or emergency department physician.

For the hospital charges, we will bill any accountable insurance carrier on your behalf. If payment of our first billing is not received, we will bill once more. If payment is not received following the second billing, we will seek payment from the guarantor.

A prompt payment discount will be given if your balance due is received within 30 days of our initial billing.

Hospital bills ONLY (not University Hospitals Medical Practices physician bills) can be paid in person, online or by mail. To pay in person, visit the Cashier’s Office on the first floor of the Hospital Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Online payments can be made HERE and mailed payments can be sent to Patient Financial Services, Samaritan Regional Health System, P.O. Box 72197, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.

VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. Please include your patient statement number on checks or money orders.

Samaritan Professional Corporation physician bills should be paid at your doctor's office or mailed to Samaritan Professional Corporation, PO Box 72098, Cleveland, Ohio 44192. Questions about Samaritan Professional Corporation bills should be directed to 419-207-7880.
